Did You Try Chef B's Juice?

As a follow-up to "A Morning Treat," the post in which I shared "Chef B's Juice"---a beverage of fruits and spices that Chef Babette Davis lives by, I want to share the benefits of the ingredients.

It always brings our bodies joy, when we infuse them with natural fruits, veggies, and spices.

It's even better when we treat our bodies to the organic types---then, they don't have to tolerate foreign, toxic chemicals, which can cause inflammation, that may result in pain, infection, bacteria, and disease. The toxins can become chronic, and potentially life-threatening----so organic is best.

The beverage---"Chef B's Juice," has a couple each of spices and fruits:

  • Cilantro

  • Green Apples

  • Ginger Root

  • Lemons or Limes

I shopped for the ingredients and tried the beverage. Upon my research, I discovered the benefits of each spice and fruit.

Cilantro, which "reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity...," according to News Medical Life Sciences.

Ginger Root can "boost brain function, ease stomach pains, fight infections, and decrease cholesterol."

Green Apples improve heart health, reduce the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, and promote a healthy gut.

Lemons protect from cell damage, contains lots of vitamin C, has healing properties, and may aid in weight-loss over time.

Limes, according to WebMD, have a plethora of benefits. They prevent kidney stones, guard against stroke, promote healthy bones and teeth, and improve immune health.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a medical professional. Although these fruits and spices can be acquired at your supermarket for general consumption, please check with your medical provider BEFORE, and IF you're seeking to use these fruits and spices EXCLUSIVELY for medicinal purposes.
